ICT improves students' language learning

It is known that the nowadays children learn by projects, using language in everything they do. For example, with ICT's which they search for all the information. But are ICT good for their learning?

On the one hand, it is certain that learning in a different way makes you learn more significant, so if you search information in a different language, you will improve it as you will improve autonomy and critical thinking too.

On the other hand, if you only learn with ICT, you forget books, leaving the traditional way as if it was the wrong way, without thinking that most popular people that had written great books have learnt in a traditional way.

In conclusion, is spite of the fact that ICT offers to improve other languages, traditional learning was in the past, and it is stil being, as good as ICT. So, are you going to desprestige it for being old?

Dear Noah,

Sorry, it has taken so long to write to you. I'm finishing my first year at college and I have been very busy.

Up to now, it has been very different from what I expected because all the subjects I have done, have been very demanding. I didn't know that Bolonia's Plan was as hard as this when I started. We have to do lots of group work and sometimes it's fiddicult to get on well with everybody at the end of the year. This is because you have to spend lots of hours with them every day. But, that's normal, isn't it?

And what about you? How has your first year at college been? You are finishing it as well, aren't you?

Do you fancy to having a holidays? When you come, we will talk a bit more.
